Eva Mildred “Millie” Wainscott, age 80, of Shelbyville died Thursday, February 8, 2018. She was born January 31, 1938, in Shelbyville, and was the daughter of the late John T. and Eva Downey. She was a homemaker and a member of Franklinton Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters: Carolyn Holcomb of Georgetown, Henrietta Blevins of Shelbyville, and Sharon Holcomb of Washington, DC; one brother: Benny Downey of New Castle; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. prior to the funeral.
