Jacob McFarland

Jacob McFarland, Age 34 of Pleasureville, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at his residence. Born on Monday, December 16, 1991, in Hillsborough County, Florida, he was the son of the late Jenileigh Dyan Richardson and Douglas Earl McFarland. Growing up in Pleasureville with his grandparents, Jacob was raised in Elmburg Baptist Church and was baptized. A hard worker, he worked various factory jobs before obtaining his CDL license and becoming a truck driver at SRM Concrete. A true outdoorsman, Jacob felt most comfortable and happy when he was in nature. He enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and hiking – especially when his sons joined him on his adventures. A father of three, he loved spending time with his boys and strived to be a good dad. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Brooklyn Joyce McFarland.

He is survived by his girlfriend and mother of his youngest son, Erika Pantoja of Fisherville; sons, Hunter Sanders of Holton, Indiana, Eli McFarland of Lawrenceburg, and Greyson McFarland of Fisherville; grandparents, Helen and Charley Richardson of Pleasureville; sisters, Elaina Eshbaugh (Antoine Lee) of Louisville, Audriana Gamez of Elizabethtown, Helen Graves (Shawn) of Clarksville, Indiana, and Doris Proctor (Sam Hoffman) of LaGrange; brothers, Doug Adams of Shepherdsville and David Adams of Brandenburg; and uncle, Ray H. Richardson (Bobbi) of Shelbyville.

Jacob will be cremated and the family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. With Care and Professionalism, arrangements are under the direction of Beckley Funeral Home.
