Leann Thompson

Leann Marie Thompson, age 48 of Lawrenceburg, died Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. She was born in Owenton and worked as a Secretary for the Commonwealth of Kentucky Legislative Research Commission. She was a member of the Lockport Baptist Church. She is survived by one son: Derek Thor Fleming of Lexington; one daughter: Sarah Elizabeth Fleming of Lexington; her parents: Elmer Leslie Thompson and Carolyn Jane Downey Thompson of Bethlehem; one brother: Charles Thompson of Lexington; and one sister: Joann Spencer of Bagdad. Funeral services are scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Bro. Fred Snider officiating. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until time of the service.
