Lorene Herndon Tipton, age 80 of Shelbyville died January 7, 2020 at U of L Health Shelbyville, Kentucky. She was born February 23, 1940 in Shelbyville to the late Raymond Herndon and Ruby Lillian Givaden Herndon. She was a homemaker.
Lorene is survived by her two sons: Joseph L. Tipton of Shelbyville, and Richard Anthony Tipton (Lynn Bradford) of Louisville; one daughter: Sandra K. Tipton Jones (Bruce) of Alabama; three grandchildren: Candice Marie Tipton, Krysty Lorene Latimer and James Michael McAllister; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband: William Anthony Tipton; brothers: Raymond Lewis Herndon, Jr. and Jerry Wayne Herndon; and sisters: Irene Gill, Martha Rose Tipton and Ramona Herndon.
Services will be private with burial in Smithfield Cemetery.
