Nancy Cubbage Payne, age 81 of Pleasureville died November 14, 2021 at New Castle Nursing and Rehab. She was born on December 20, 1939 in Pleasureville to the late James Corbin Cubbage and Evelyn Hockensmith Cubbage. She was a social worker and homemaker. She was also member of Pleasureville Christian Church.
She is survived by one son: Jamie Payne (Andrea) of Pleasureville; two daughters: Lisa Ann Payne of Louisville and Mary Palmer of Lexington; and one grandchild: Luke Palmer.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James Lester Payne.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Pleasureville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Payne, Ricky Wilhoite, Tommy Tackett, Todd Marston, Brent Godby, Morgan Powers, Maurice Payne and Jim Codell.
